Carmels (Edit)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 1 cup Karo syrup

  • 1/2 lb butter

  • 2 cups cream

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 cup nuts

Directions

  • Cook sugar, syrup, butter, and 1 cup cream until they boil

  • Slowly add the rest of the cream

  • Cook to softball stage (240 °F)

  • Take off heat

  • Add vanilla and nuts

  • Pour in greased 9x13 pan and let cool

  • Cut in pieces and wrap in wax paper
